Herb Hafif&¦39;s law career begins in 1953 when he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pomona College and received his J.D. from University of Southern California Law School, Los Angeles, in 1956.

A nationally known lawyer, among his courtroom wins are a &¦36;54 million verdict against one of Orange County&¦39;s largest home builders for wrongful termination&¦59; a &¦36;34 million verdict in a civil RICO case against California Federal Savings and Loan&¦59; a &¦36;141 million punitive damage award against ComputerLand for their failure to honor a note to several investors.

Herb Hafif has been the recipient of numerous awards including being selected as the &¦34;National Consumer Advocate of the Year&¦34; by the American Trial Lawyers Association, selected one of the &¦34;100 Most Influential Lawyers in America&¦34; by the National Law Journal, &¦34;Citizen of the Year&¦34; by the Red Cross, &¦34;Philanthropist of the Year in 2000&¦34;, and is the &¦34;Outstanding President&¦34; in the history of the California Trial Lawyers Association.
