Miguel G. Caballero
attended UCLA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in
Political Science in 1979. In 1982 he graduated from UCLA Law
School.
In practice since
1982, Mr. Caballero has represented thousands of clients in a
variety of areas of the law including personal injury, police abuse,
civil rights, employment, immigration, real estate, family law and
criminal defense. During his career he has represented labor
unions, businesses, attorneys, doctors, non-profit organizations and
associations.
From 1989 to 1992 he
served as managing attorney of a legal department to one of the
largest worker associations in Southern California, the California
Immigrant Workers Association, AFL-CIO. From 1995 to 2000 he joined
the union side labor firm of Holguin & Garfield and headed a
pre-paid legal plan representing the workers of the Hotel Employees
and Restaurant Employees Union, Local 11 in Los Angeles.
In November of 2000,
Mr. Caballero joined the civil litigation firm of Sayre & Chavez and
became the managing attorney of the Los Angeles Office. While at
the Sayre & Chavez firm, Mr. Caballero was designated as counsel to
the Mexican Consul located in Los Angeles, advising the Mexican
government on a variety of legal matters.
In March of 2005, Mr.
Caballero joined the prestigious firm of Law Office of Herbert Hafif
in Claremont as a trial attorney.
Mr. Caballero is a
member of the Mexican American Bar Association of Los Angeles County
and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
